How to manage your profile and privacy

Change your display name, photo, privacy and email preferences.

Steps

  1. Open Settings — Select your avatar in the header and choose Settings, or go to Settings.
  2. Edit your account details — Under Account, change your display name, username, country or region, profile image and explorer frame.
  3. Choose your privacy — Under Privacy, choose whether your profile and your discoveries are public.
  4. Set email preferences — Under Preferences, turn email notifications and weekly expedition emails on or off.

If something doesn’t work

Under Security you can change your password and see active sessions. Deleting your account is under Danger Zone and is permanent.
