How to use the header search

Find species, articles, resources, glossary terms, help, FAQs and Biosphere features from anywhere.

Feature: Search

Steps

  1. Select the search field in the header — On phones, open the menu first.
  2. Type what you are looking for — Suggestions appear as you type, grouped by type (features, species, Journal, resources, glossary, help, FAQ). Try “field scanner” or “wallet”.
  3. Choose a result — Click a suggestion, or use the arrow keys and press Enter.

If something doesn’t work

Each section also has its own search: Species and Catalog, the Journal, Resources, the Glossary, the FAQ and this Help Center. Use those when you want to filter within one section.
